Who We Are

YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to prayer and the Word of God, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.

In 1944 Youth for Christ responded to the growing need to provide Christian leadership by coordinating gospel centered outreach events. In a post World War II America, the ministry expanded quickly and Billy Graham became YFC’s first full time Staff member.

Today Youth for Christ reaches every student one at a time through our various ministries:

• Campus Life
• Juvenile Justice
• Teen Parents
• Foster Care ministries

Seattle Area Youth for Christ ministries reach youth in urban, suburban and rural areas and functions as a chapter of Youth for Christ USA which operates worldwide and employs over 40,000 individuals. We devote ourselves to spreading the hope of Jesus in all cultural settings.
