What We Do

YFC accomplishes it's mission with these local ministry programs.

City Life

City Life is a relational, whole person ministry that desires to see deep change in an urban neighborhood through transforming the lives of youth. Working together with like-minded partners, Christian adults connect with urban youth and work to introduce them in a natural way to the person of Jesus Christ then disciple them into the next generation of leaders for their neighborhood. Learn more.

Juvenile Justice

Juvenile Justice Mission reaches Young people in a variety of youth-serving institutions such as detention centers, probation programs, group homes and emergency shelters. These relationships are sustained through ongoing involvement as they re-enter their communities and JJM staff and volunteers are committed to connections that last long after the teens have left the facility.  Learn more.

Drop in Centers

Youth for Christ strategically places drop in centers in neighborhoods where a strong after school youth presence resides. Our drop in centers provide a safe and positive environment for young people during the afterschool hours.  When kids arrive at The Spot they’re greeted with a warm fun environment, food, games, and caring adult mentors who can get to know kids, hear their story and help bring necessary resources into their lives. Learn more.

City serve

City Serve seeks to unite communities and churches by providing service projects and needs to local youth ministries and schools. Through the many different events, service projects, and City Serve Camps throughout the year, young people discover God’s heart for justice and invest in their communities. Learn more.
