It's been a big year for Youth for Christ Seattle. We've opened many new ministry sites and connected with thousands of students throughout the King and Snohomish county. We launched our Foster Care ministry and Juvenile Justice ministry. Through our City Life ministries we are reaching students in at risk communities. It is our immense blessing to witness God's work in the Seattle area and can only participate with gladness and awe as the power of God effects the lives of young people.

Thank you so much for your support of YFC throughout the past year. Check our our entire Year End Newsletter Here.

We are thankful for Chap Clark, Fuller Seminary and the Luke 12:48 foundation. This morning over 250 parents and youth workers came to Bellevue Presbyterian Church to listen and learn from Chap Clark, a leading mind in the field of youth and family ministries.

The morning was filled with great instruction and practical tips on how to connect with, love, and help grow young people. If you weren't able to be at the seminar, you can listen to the full audio below or download it here (Right click "save target as") The file has almost 3 hours of content and is 149mb. It may take 15 minutes or more to download depending on your download speed.

Stay posted for upcoming youth worker events involving Chap Clark and Luke 12:48 foundation.

November 19th is National Adoption Day, but TODAY families all across the country will finalize their adoptions and celebrate their forever families. Since National Adoption Day began in 2000, over 35,000 children in foster care have been adopted into their forever families on National Adoption Day ( www.nationaladoptionday.org ). In Washington State we have roughly 800 children in foster care who are legally free and waiting for their forever families. To find out more about how you can give a child in foster care a forever family, contact maddy@yfcseattlemetro.com .

	Dear Friends,

Thank you SO much for your recent attendance at our Youth for Christ benefit dinner on November 1st. Your partnership is very important to us as we strive together for the cause of Christ and the sake of kids in our community. I’m also thankful to let you know that we’ve come very close to our financial goal for the evening of $100,000. Our one time gifts and pledges towards the evening are just over $89,000 so far. While we’ll be working hard over the next several weeks to close this gap and also reach our additional year-end fundraising goals, we want you to know that your investment in our YFC mission for at-risk kids is so appreciated.

With your partnership we’ll continue to reach kids with the love of Christ through our Foster Care, City Life, Campus Life, drop in centers, Teen Parents and Juvenile Justice ministries. We’ve uploaded our ministry video from the banquet below and we like to encourage you to take a look at it, find out more about our various ministries…and maybe forward this link to a friend so they can consider becoming a partner in this mission.

Finally, thank you again for your support, and on behalf of our board, staff and volunteers I’d like to wish you and your family a joyous Thanksgiving!

For Every kid…ONE at a time,
