Valley View Middle School

Our Team

The team at Valley View is comprised of one full-time YFC staff member, three interns from Mill Creek Foursquare Church, and three high school student-leaders.  Together it is our heart to serve the school and the students to see positive life change, the growth of hope through mentorship and postive role-models, and ultimately the love of Jesus being experienced in their lives.

What we do:

We serve the school in whatever ways are needed.  Currently we help supervise lunches, interacting with students to foster and insure a safe, positive enviornment in the cafeteria and gym, and we spend time mentoring students that the school administration connects us with.  We are blessed to have the opportunity to meet with students during one period of the school day to assist them with homework, unfinished assignments, organization, and general life planning.

We also host an event called Campus Life, which is an after school club that occurs on Fridays from 6:36-8:08pm.  This club exists for two reasons: 1) to be a place for Christian student to gether together, establish relationships, and begin to reach their school for Jesus, and 2) to be a safe, non-threatening environment where nonChristian students can encounter the message of Jesus, learn about who God is and what it means that He loves them, and find a connection point to a local church.  These things are accomplished through fun activities, games, relationship building times, and conversations led by our incredible team.

Dates to remember:
Upcoming Campus Life Clubs:
March 19th, 6:36-808pm in the Valley View Middle School cafeteria

Centennial Middle School

WHO WE ARE
We are a team composed of paid staff, volunteers, parents and students who love Centennial Middle School.  With over 800 students on campus, we believe that each and every student should have a safe, positive community. We seek to be positive role models and mentors.  We invest on campus as a support to the administration, the students and their families.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE-FNL
Campus Life is now on Friday nights starting @ 6:36. Every other week, we have a themed club.  Original sketches or lip-sync contests are some of the main events. Whether it is Frisbee, four-square or answering the question of the week, students will feel welcomed and build friendships.
