Monroe Ministry Update

Esperanza -
Esperanza is our upcoming apartment ministry outreach in Monroe. Our goal is to bring an after school program/club that is intended to help educate and connect with students and their families in their very community.
Monroe High School
Our current outreach to Monroe High School is our partnership with the Monroe YMCA. The Minority Achievers Program (MAP) is a YMCA/Youth for Christ run after school program at the high school that is designed to help minority students succeed academically, as well as, explore college, scholarship, and career opportunities. In addition to academics, it is our goal to provide our students with a fun and caring, family like environment where we can share with the kids the reason for the hope that we have in Christ!
Park Place and Monroe Middle Schools
Our staff and volunteers are on campus every week serving the needs of students, teachers and administrators. They're mentoring students, helping them with homework and building positive relationships with them. Twice a month we're partnering with local churches and other organizations to bring junior high students together from all over Monroe for a club time where they have fun, build positive relationships with students and leaders...and hear about the life changing hope that's found in Jesus Christ.
