Eastside Ministries
Connecting teenagers with caring adults and communicating the life changing great news of Jesus Christ is a passion of Youth For Christ and the Campus life effort on the East Side. On the East Side of Seattle we have a ministry presence at five different middle schools and junior highs. Chinook Middle School, Odle Middle School, Kirkland Junior High, Canyon Park Junior High, and Redmond Junior High.
Chinook Middle School

Odle Middle School
From badminton and Frisbee to academic coaching and after school programs, YFC loves serving the students and families of Odle Middle School. YFC joined the richly diverse Odle community last fall and began serving students wherever volunteer opportunities arose. Currently, YFC is in the process of researching the Odle community and discovering the best means of serving students and families while proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. We hope to launch a modified club ministry in the coming months, and thankfully accept all prayers for wisdom and guidance.
Kirkland Junior High
Home of the mighty Panthers, Kirkland Junior High houses students from 7th through 9th grade. This wide range of physical, mental, and emotional development offers its own challenges. The school has recognized the need for more caring adults in the lives of their students and have invited in the local youth pastor and our YFC staff and volunteers. With Club beginning on March 12 we are praying for more doors and hearts to be opened to the hope of Jesus Christ. Please pray for this club launch.

Currently we have eleven full and part time Youth For Christ Staff ministering on the East Side sharing life, serving school, and communicating the love of Jesus.
Our ministry plan on the East Side and all over the Greater Seattle Region is to partner with the local church and other like-minded partners and go together into the local communities and schools to build up life long followers of Jesus Christ.
We have five main partner churches on the East Side, First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue, Lake Sammamish Foursquare Church, Timberlake Christian Fellowship, Kirkland Church of the Nazarene, and Northshore Baptist Church. At each church at least one of out Youth For Christ Staff serve the youth ministry department and help run programs while building meaningful relationships with teenagers. In congruency with our mission we also partner with like-minded agencies on the East Side. At Chinook Middle School in West Bellevue we not only partner with FPCB but also with Young Life in an effort to unify the Body and extend our reach around this school and community.
