Our Ministries

Campus Life

Campus Life offers students opportunities for friendship, fun, and spiritual growth. Club meetings can be a great time to meet and "hang out" with kids from school, and a chance to talk about what's important to them. Besides weekly, topical meetings, there are area events, trips and special outings designed for the needs of young teens and the chance to get to know kids from other area schools. Staff and adult volunteers find creative ways to build relationships and communicate the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Staff and volunteers provide leadership that kids can rely upon, as well as, providing a positive role model.

Our clubs are run in partnership with local churches and they happen on campuses all throughout Snohomish and King County each month during the school year.  Check out more!

City Life

This is a comprehensive ministry effort designed to address the diverse and complex needs of youth and families in our urban centers. By working collaboratively with the local church and other agencies in our cities, YFC's CityLife ministry focuses on not only sharing the message of Christ with inner city kids during after school clubs, but we strive to do the work of Christ by addressing the broader issues that kids face in the city like literacy, teen pregnancy, juvenile justice and more.  Check out more...

Teen Parents

The YFC Teen Parents ministry connects trained adults with pregnant girls and teenage parents in programs designed to help them make good choices and establish a solid foundation, not only in their lives, but also in the lives of their babies. Like every ministry of YFC, Teen Parents seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found as life-long followers of Jesus Christ. The rate of pregnancy among American teens is almost twice that of English and nearly four times that of French teenagers (Singh and Darroch, 2000). Pregnancy is only one aspect of the situation. The majority of the teens will go through with their pregnancy and choose to be the primary caregiver. We must come along side them and assist them to become the best moms and dads that they can. In 2001 there were 175 ministry sites throughout the U.S. Thousands of teenage parents are participating in local ministries. Some communities are ministering to four to ten teens while others are working with hundreds. Check out more...
